Conservation Cover & Pollinator Planting

Conservation Cover and Pollinator Planting creates diverse habitats with native flowers, grasses, and legumes to provide continuous food (nectar/pollen) to improve soil health, reducing erosion, and supporting beneficial insects.

There are 2 types of habitat cover included either annual or perennial cover. If annual cover is used, the cover must be replanted each year during the life of the contract. This type of native wildflowers and grasses, acts as a critical habitat that supports wildlife by providing essential food, nesting, and brooding sites.

If interested in the different conservation cover seed mixes that would be best for your property schedule a Field & Feather property walk-through.
